China considers revising rural land contract law

 BEIJING, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) - China's top legislature is mulling a revision to the law on rural land contract.

China has announced import tariff quotas on fertilizers 2018

 At the end of October, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOC) announced officially the import tariff quotas on fertilizer for the year 2018. According to the announcement, the total quantity of imported fertilizer quotas is 13.65 million tonnes, shared by 3.30 million tonnes of urea, 6.90 million tonnes of monoammonium phosphate (MAP) and 3.45 million tonnes of compound fertilizers.

China to improve water conservation

 BEIJING, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) - China should do more to improve water conservancy and water resource saving, Premier Li Keqiang said Friday in a written message to a meeting.

China to cut tariffs on consumer goods

 China will further reduce tariffs on consumer goods, including food and infant formula, in the third cut since 2015.Effective next month, the average import tax on some food, health products, medicine, daily chemicals, clothing, footwear, and other products will drop to 7.7 percent from 17.3 percent, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) said Friday in an online statement.
